Ian Rossenrode - Print & Multimedia Designer / Visualizer / 2D & 3D Artist / Animator / Illustrator

Born and schooled in Kenya, (East Africa). I studied and graduated in Fine Art in South Africa, then continued studying graphic, photography & (the start of) 'multimedia' in the UK (on Amiga Computers)... For better or worse, I have pretty much worked across the gamut of the visual industry...

My experience covers - Advertising agencies, design & medical agencies, packaging design studios, furniture, exhibition & point-of-sale design. I have been employed as both - Art & Creative Director in the past...but for the most part, I have either freelanced and consulted, in multimedia projects, visualizing and design in 2D & 3D, illustration, online/web, or partnered and/or established my own design and multimedia studios... (email me for my full CV)

Done a fair bit of travel over the years and worked in several countries......
...Held a number of painting/sculpture exhibitions, (in the UK and 'abroad')... I have also lectured & trained in both - 'traditional' and 'digital' art and still do the occasional (traditional and digital) workshop now and again.

Eight and half years ago I relocated (back) to the UK, after regretfully leaving 'my Africa' for probably the last time!

Have recently moved from a 'cabin' in Harpenden, to the edge of Watford in Hertfordshire (UK)

..Since my return to the UK I have worked in and out of contract and 'permanent' roles and most recently - as of October 2008 I have been working as the 'Multimedia Officer' at King's College London...

diet coke
(...Yup. I have been doing this for a while... I created the original Diet Coke for Metal Box in South Africa...
herewith the scan of that artwork.. & yes, this was certainly pre-digital days!)

I 'quietly' continue with my fine art, so would naturally welcome receiving fine art commissions. The link to my fine art is - http://rossenrode-art.co.uk/fineart.html (this page also needs urgent updating)

And as mentioned, I am once again training on Mac (primarily), so please contact me for more on that...(Haven't progressed too well with that part of my website... but hey, I have been busy surviving) -
